Elections

Voting is really important to me. I was born in 1988, but I have studied Chilean history and I have learned how difficult it was during the dictatorship to express our opinion. Democracy is not a gift, democracy is what we deserve and we recovered it back, but it cost a huge price. That's why I am engaged with my people, my country and myself and I will vote on November 17th when the presidential election takes place. I believe in freedom of opinion and I consider very important to spread the ideas of the candidates through electoral campaigns.

Candidates have to be honest, consequent and have their ideas very clear. Their program has to be known by everyone. I believe in political alliances but without losing the essence of the candidates. A public position as Presidency should have a lower range of age to make possible the changes our old political system by letting young (but not that young) people participate and work for the best of our country.

I have never considered myself a politician, not in a real plan. I like politics and public administration but I see myself in the future as part of a work team, probably working for a candidate. I have to be honest, I feel more comfortable in backstage, I consider this part more excited.

I live in Providencia and I visit my family in Ñuñoa which is part of my district too. I like when candidates show themselves and their programs because to vote we need to know them. The thing is that all the advertisement is too much and that makes the city even dirtier. I would ask the senate some changes about this.

What about you, what do you think?
